Sintra is one of the most beautiful and historic cities in Portugal, known for its mountainous landscape and magnificent palaces and castles. This city, classified as World Heritage, is a true treasure of history and culture, where nature and architecture meet in perfect harmony.

We will begin the tour by visiting the main sights of Sintra, starting with the impressive Palácio da Pena, one of the most notable examples of Romanticism in the country and one of the Seven Wonders of Portugal. This palace, which combines architectural styles such as Gothic, Manueline, and Renaissance, offers breathtaking views over the mountains and the sea.

Following our route, we will visit the Castelo dos Mouros, a medieval fortress dating back to the 8th century. Located on top of a hill, the castle offers panoramic views of the region and is an excellent spot to understand the historical importance of the city during the Muslim occupation and the Christian Reconquista.

We will also pass through the Centro Histórico de Sintra, with its charming streets and historic buildings, which transport visitors to the past, offering a unique and authentic experience of the city.

After lunch, the tour continues to Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of continental Europe. Here, the views of the Atlantic and the towering cliffs are truly breathtaking. The lighthouse and the monument marking this point are perfect spots for photos and to appreciate the grandeur of the landscape.

The next destination will be Cascais, a charming coastal village, which during the 19th century was a retreat for the Portuguese and European aristocracy. Cascais is known for its tranquil atmosphere, beaches, and elegant architecture, making it an ideal destination to explore and relax.

Finally, we will return to Lisbon via the marginal, a road that runs along the coast, offering stunning views of the beaches and coastal landscape, before reaching the capital.
