The Douro Vinhateiro is one of the most prestigious wine regions in Portugal, known for its stunning landscapes, terraced vineyards, and exceptional wine production, especially the famous Vinho do Porto. This Landscape of Culture, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage site, is a true testament to the harmony between man and nature.

During the tour, we visit a winery, where the vines stretch across shale terraces along the Rio Douro, offering unforgettable views. We continue to Régua, the capital of Vinho do Porto, where we will visit the Museu do Douro, a space dedicated to the history and culture of this wine region.

We proceed to Pinhão, a charming village on the right bank of the Douro, where the iconic iron bridge, designed by Gustave Eiffel, stands out. Here, we embark on a traditional Rabelo boat, once used to transport wine barrels along the river. The cruise offers a unique perspective of the terraced vineyards, creating a rare and beautiful setting.

At the end of the boat ride, there is an option to cross the Serra do Marão, the second-highest mountain range in Portugal, and make a stop in the charming city of Amarante, situated along the banks of the rio Tâmega, known for its historical architecture and conventual sweets.
